 Qualitative Researcher

Job Description:

We are hiring for the role of Qualitative Researcher. In this exciting and dynamic role, you will be working alongside savvy professionals, committed to doing quality research and making a difference. Every project presents a new challenge and opportunity to learn, grow and contribute in meaningful ways.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively lead qualitative research projects encompassing all facets from start to finish: design, moderating, analysis, report writing and presenting
  • Collaborate with others to ensure research quality and deliver on project commitments
  • Manage overlapping projects with success, drawing upon strong organization skills
  • Moderate a host of methodologies (in-person & virtual) including focus groups, 1:1’s, ethnography and boards
  • Skillfully draw out compelling insights and create story-driven reports
  • Mentor and coach others with potential to manage others over time
  • Support business development through capability presentations and industry engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited university or college in a relevant major such as Psychology, Marketing, Journalism, Sociology etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in qualitative moderation and team facilitation, health care experience is a plus
  • Strong and proven skills in qualitative analysis and report writing
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency (PPT, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to travel (domestic and global) up to 30% as appropriate
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed

Job Description:

At MarketVision Research, Qualitative Field Project Managers are the ULTIMATE collaborators, relationship builders, detail managers and solution finders. The success of each marketing research project we conduct lies in the foundation they build and the details they manage.

What You’ll Do:

Consult and collaborate with internal research team members, clients and vendor partners to design and orchestrate, from proposal through data collection, all details of qualitative marketing research projects. You will lead and guide bidding processes, develop screeners, manage daily recruitment and research details. You will also build and maintain relationships with vital external partners, facilities and service providers, moderators, translators, vendors/facility owners, and recruitment agencies, both domestically and internationally.

What You Need For Success:

  • Collaboration and solution-oriented mind-set
  • Exceptional communication (verbal/written) and organization skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, process and flexibility
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to problem identification and creativity in solution identification
  • Minimum 5 years of research project management experience
  • Some college, BA or BS in related field preferred
  • Experience in Healthcare research preferred

This is a part-time flexible position with varying hours that fall most often during the standard work week and generally between the hours 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.
