 Internet Programmer

Internet Survey Programming is the backbone of the marketing research we conduct. Our research impacts the development of products and services that make the world a better place. From conducting research on the impact of a new medication or medical device, researching the efficacy of your favorite laundry detergent to examining how to better design financial services that help you save for retirement, MarketVision’s research touches the world and everyone in it.


Key Responsibilities:

Internet Programmers use our custom research platform based on Perl and JavaScript to program questions for use in marketing research studies. Research can be conducted by phone, online, via mobile device and in person. Programmers work collaboratively with other each other and client service teams, and utilize various multimedia and internet technologies to engage consumers and provide insights to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field- (BA or BS preferred)
  • 0-5 years related experience
  • Proficiency with all of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl (or other web programming language), SQL
  • Experience with the following a plus: Linux, JQuery, Decipher
  • Strong problem solving ability, organizational skills, attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and honesty

Consider joining the MarketVision Research team as a Qualitative Marketing Research Analyst.


In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners and clients on all phases of qualitative research projects from design and insight capture through data analysis and final reporting.
  • Analyze research insights from qualitative research interviews and write engaging reports that convey the story of the research and nuanced contributing factors and provides strategic, actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to produce and present report deliverables that effectively and visually bring the story to life.

Ideal candidates will be:

  • Knowledgeable in marketing research principles, appropriate research design for various stages of product life cycle, and qualitative research techniques
  • Skilled in nurturing relationships, working collaboratively, listening and adapting
  • Organized, detail oriented and capable of managing overlapping/complex projects
  • Skilled in research analysis, strategic thinking and writing
  • Skilled in both project and client management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency (PPT, Word, Excel)
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
  • Experience in/aptitude for healthcare a plus
  • Experience with global research and quantitative projects a plus

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience including marketing research, client relationship development and B2B sales of professional services.
  • Demonstrated history of sourcing clients and establishing long term business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and solve problems in a manner inclusive of various points of view and need.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
